Lengthening amount for best tibia:femur ratio

When doing quadrilateral surgery,
longer tibia -> better aesthetic but less orthopedic health
longer femur -> better health but less aesthetic

What should be optimal for both?
Can any of you suggest, on top of, or aside from voting the poll?

What is the point of aesthetics if you can’t move properly?
Obviously maintain the natural ratio and focus 100% on recovery.

You’ll be stuck with those legs the rest of your life, which hopefully also means when you’re old. So give yourself as good a chance as possible to enjoy increased height, but maintaining as much mobility as possible. You will thank yourself one day.

Best of both worlds:

4cm + 4cm, one year later 4cm + 4cm with PRECICE.

Besides that, it's really a personal choice that you should talk about with your Doctor.

Current LL plan:
QLL in Early 2025 using the PRECICE nail with Dr. Birkholtz.
4cm tibia, 4cm femur. One year later, re-break for another 4+4. 167cm -> 175cm -> 183cm

natural range is .72-.86 but somewhere in the middle was found to be slightly more attractive than the extremes. length of lower limbs : height had the greatest effect on aesthetics. interestingly, there was no difference in ratings throughout the bottom 0.1% and top 0.1% for arm length.

If you desire you can still wear lifts and look good after lengthening Femurs, but long tibs + lifts is not a good look.

If your're only doing one segment then do Femurs. Because they're better in every aspect. Lower overall complication rate, heals faster, better atheletic ability, less risk of arthisis or joint problems (see source) and most important of all more height can safetely be achieved with femurs.
