Who did Quadrilateral lengthening?
I'm just curious now, it looks like most of people CAN'T reach high amount of lengthening and stop at 10-12cm in total.
Is that because of too much pain? Problems with knees that start with more cm gaining? Soft tissue?

Are there any cases when patients made 13cm plus with Quadrilateral lengthening?

It just looks like not only it's safer but also you will gain more height (femur 8cm, tibia 5-6 cm) if you will do one segment then break for year and then another segment.

Any thoughts?

I believe its much safer doing a year apart because you will be more mobile if you have surgery from one segment. You will walk and exercise easier. Also it will be much easier for your body to heal.

Not waiting in between is definately harder. It is more draining for you body, the legs are stressed more because of lengthening almost 2mm combined per day. Most of the structure is indirectly tied to each other between tibia and femur so it is harder to reach maximum height. Phisiotherapy is harder as well. I waited 1.5 months between two surgeries and I don't think doing them at the same time is rational nor meaningful. At least give your body time to recover between surgeries. I did tibia first 5.8cm. Currently at 4cm on femur but had multiple complications. Both precise.
