You go for second opinion when you don't trust your doctor

I did explained but again you are back with your childish comments, if you are one of Dr. Sarin's staff I can only say this to you, see either learn some decent English and mannerism to interact or just leave don't spoil the forum, you are only making yourself look like a clown

Hi brother
I have something to tell you that might help ,it just my opinion don't get me wrong
As you mentioned you are more focused on meat based diet for recovery but unlike popular belief meat based diet is very bad for bone recovery , general bone health and overall health I remember listening whole lecture about how non veg diet is Highly acidic in nature and body tries to neutralized it thus suk mineral from bone. The video  is somewhere on unicorns diary
Wishing you fast recovery

Hi bro
Do you have any sensation/sensory loss in leg or
feet?
What is your pain level?
How long you expected to be completely normal?

You look kind of skinny bro. You definitely need to eat more, protein, take vitamins d and calcium, drink milk and carefully weight bear. Your bone needs to heal more, focus every day to large diet and standing. Standing and weight bearing carefully is the #1 most important factor to build callus. Your walk looks good so far, keep training and it will look normal in a few months. Good luck man

Can walk normally no issues in there, but still you do feel some pain after a while and you can only just walk like a kid not run or anything

When it comes to sensory loss, at gap region on right leg in some region i dont think i have great sensation, but this region was bit bigger and it seem to be reducing as it heals, apart from that no other sensation loss or changes

I think recovery be slow at starting stages till it unites, after that it bit quicker than before still I expect another 6 months for me to heal in acceptable terms without feeling pains after some long walk

Hello Nomad,

I'm also thinking of 5cm lengthening on tibia by LON even maybe 5,5 or max 6. I want to ask you if you lose any cms after removing the fixators. I mean you lengthened your tibia 5 cm by LON device but did you get exact 5 cm taller or a bit less than 5cm?
I ask that because i recently read that it might be normal to lose 10-15% of the gain after removing the fixators.

thanks in advance

I was also wondering the same thing. I asked a couple of doctors on their opinion and they said that the only reason someone would appear to “lose” height after removal is because they dis not measure their height correctly in the beginning, or they took say their morning height and then compared it with their evening height.

I asked my doctor about this. You wont lose a single millimeter. So if youve for example lenghtened 5cm you wiill get the full 5cm.

Thats good to hear, in that case I reckon its the people inaccuracy regarding the measurements, they are probably measuring morning height and then comparing it with evening height, something like that.

Thanks for the answer. So it's because of incorrect measurements either before the surgery or after lengthening

I can walk even faster i feel can run in slower speed but haven't tried much because i want to take it slow.

Want to share one of strange experience i had in Dr. Mangal Parihar Hospital(Mangal Anand Hospital), I took an appointment a week before seems they are operating with limited slots per day because of covid 19, I went to the hospital(on 17/06/2020) met a doctor there he asked when and where i had my surgery, about my frame etc which all felt valid questions to ask, but he seem to be too interested in knowing what i do as in work, and where am from, I felt that were bit off topic questions, and felt may be he wants to decide price of treatment depending on my work and where am from, i dunno, or may be he wanted to make me feel comfortable. Reason i went was to have some opinion of Dr. Parihar on my recovery, at the end doctor i met asked me to take some x-rays which i did and i finally met, Dr. Parihar he seem very simple and nice kind of person, didn't ask any odd questions like other doctor before. As per him yes, my right leg recovery is bit slower but it has united so he asked to follow some good workout regime and diet and see how it goes.

This could have been one of their fellowship students. I had a similar experience when I was there before the covid crisis. I was definitely uncomfortable though. At one point there were 3-4 people in the room asking me questions. I just took it positively that it's better if the staff is interested in me instead of neglecting me. :) After that with Dr. Parihar the consultation was very reassuring.

one thing I was a bit concerned about was that he didn't physically examine my legs for flexibility, strength or anything. He just looked at x-rays and made me stand once to see from a distance.

Did he do any physical examination for you?

Anyway I think you will be resuming your consultations in Gurgaon so this may not be relevant to you now.

The first doctor i met in Dr. Parihar clinic did check flexibility a bit, but Dr, Parihar he just checked my x-ray and commented over it, i dont remember if even asked me to stand

I honestly suggest do your own research and see who is more practical for you and go with him, and don't go just for popularity, also try understanding and research limb lengthening surgery in all its progressive stages and think it through, and select one which best suit you and dont just think in terms of budget, because its your legs at stake

I am not in gurgaon right now, i am living in some other city, but I do go at times if its required, but Harry been really helpful during all this time, bit more than Dr. Sharma, he replies on time and takes it serious, just my experience and opinion not just in LL but also in other stuff when i was moving between cities in India.
