RG is that video the most recent? You're a champ man, I'm having some issues too, but I'm thankful that you're sharing this to give us some perspective

Idk if money is an issue, but I heard good things about stem cell injections

My right tibia had 12 degrees varus after LL. It was in no way so bad like yours Rgkey but it still needed straightening and I did it before 5 months together with at shortening by puting an internal metal plate. It was very painful for the first days (much more than LL) but after a month I could put full weight and although it still irritates me sometimes (when I put much pressure) my leg feels much better than before.
I haven't done a ct scan to see if it is completely straight now but it must be as I feel it much better in walking and also it looks straight when I look at it.

So what surgery you did to straighten your tibia? Ilizarov or something internal? And how has the result? Because I rrad somewhere that you said you can't walk unaided now.

in my point of wiew your proportionals are good

have you ever sended the last video you posted to others doctors ? like dr Pili ?

my 2 cents,  don't post your girlfriend's pictures in a public topic (of frustrated guys  :) )

Because it's not illogical to post her  photos to strangers online. It's just frustrated males. You sir are a brilliant man. ::)

So next year it’ll be 5 years with nothing but trouble. I hope you’ll be able to walk normal again.
It is very expensive to go cheap.
You went almost 100% above recommended length on tibia. It was a very risky decision.

Update is all on how it goes. It’s necessary for future patients.

Good luck.

Not that much...doctors in Russia are cheap, especially to natives.

Hopefully he is still able to walk somewhat normally, and more than a mile without deep pain.

Normal walking with so big malunions is impossible.

Considering he has not come back to tell us any updates, either, the situation seems really grim.

He said he he couldn't walk without crutches one page back.

True.

But generally not when they're talking about bone graft operations, stem cell injections and being unable to walk without crutches in some of their latest posts before disappearing. I'm hoping for the best.

RGkey had some terrible malunions, the worst I ever saw after LL.
Without extra surgeries to break again his bones (and in more than one spot in each tibia) and without months of rehabilitation his condition can't be improved.
So definitely he hasnt forgot LL because he had a good outcome.

Also, no, usually people who are ok or excellent with their outcomes continue to write here to help other people with LL too.
Most of people with bad outcomes want to try and fix their problems and dont have the mood to write about them in forums.

After my corrective surgeries that I am very good now I am more willing to write here and help future LLers.
After my LL and the freaking atl surgery that left me almost not even capable to jog I didnt write in forums because I tried to find a solution to my problems first.
