Hi Tikal,

Hope you are recovering well.  Can you tell us a little about yourself and your surgery?

Curious about your username too!

All the best.

Did you do internal or external ?  Tibia or femur?  I hope you're ok.  What is the Dr. saying ?

I used IMGUR to upload pics .

Here is an explanation:

I do not mean to be alarmist; however, it seems quite clear from your x-ray that your tibia is split near your upper cut so that a significant wedge of bone is loose.

Common sense suggests that is a problem which should be addressed.

Oh man, why did you go for such a barbaric procedure?  External should be outlawed in my opinion. I sincerely hope everything will be okay with you.

Externals on femurs is the safest way to do LL if it is with a good and stable hexapod.
Anyone who says otherwise has no idea about LL.

Tikal I can't understand much from your x rays but if I see right the bins are bended which is of course something bad.

You can see better how your pins are and if they are straight.
If they are not your doctor should change them asap.

Bodybuilder, I don't know what drugs you're on, but delusion certainly appears to be a pronounced effect! On the one hand, you try to discredit first generation mechanically operated internal rods in favour of magnetically operated rods, but now you're saying external on femurs is the safest LL method lol. Why didn't go for it then?! It has certainly been around the longest.

I'm sorry for such a bad comment
Many patients use external methods in many countries.

Dear friend
Bending is in my knee. And not seen in the x- ray picture. I will give you some new pictures. I'm happy to know your opinion on this.
