It is good to hear you will speak to an orthopedic soon. Feel free to let us know what he says.  Lots of people read the forum and can provide input that might be helpful.

Yes, "musicloverincal", I know people follow my diary, thats why I have almost 10.000 viewers...

So, today I met the orthopedist. He has a high rating in my country. He also worked as surgeon in Switzerland. He put implants, but only for accidents and deformities.
He understood my concerns regarding missing callus in tibias and only one screw left.
He said next week we shall do a special x-ray for highlighting the callus and then he will decide what will choose for me to do.
I keep working hard in the warm salted water pool and I can feel an improvement in force, balance and some muscle regain. But still I have big pain in my right tibia when walking...

The price is quoted is the package - nails & operation, medication, PT and two weeks hospital and Rehab Stay.
After that, it is all depended on yourself how long and where you want to stay longer.

After dozens of diaries I've read almost all patients complained that femur pain is so excruciating that it's not even comparable to tibia pain. It's scary to be honest.

I wonder what distraction feels like. I can imagine it but the actual experience would be very interesting to be honest. Also, I think that distraction on femurs has to be more painful due to large muscles surrounding the bone.

I'm not afraid of pain, what I'm afraid the most is bone infection. Other inconveniences can be dealt with much effort and discipline but bone infection is the scariest thing of LL there is.

Also, I'm kinda afraid of internal nailing. I know that doing femurs with pure external is a suicide so it's either LON or fully internal nails for femurs. Either way it involves nailing while you can avoid nails when doing tibia with Ilizarov or TSF.

My experience for internal nails for both Femur and Tibias are not too bad.
It can be managed by the right dose painkillers.

Tibias is more complicated cos it is lower legs and blood circulation is not as good as Femur.
More swelling, stiffness and soreness at the ankles, tibias bones and calf...sometimes kneecap.

Dude, it's not about being at least 180 cm or nothing at all.  :D I never said that a man should be at least that height in order to be successful with most women. I'm saying that any height below solid 5'8 is a serious disadvantage for a man in dating life. He can be perfect in all areas but the sheer lack of height will hinder him with most women and his dating pool will be very small.

Besides, it's not about being a certain height, but not to have short and disproportional legs. Short legs are not attractive on men and it makes an already short man look even shorter than he really is.

So, the point of LL is not only to become taller but also to normalize leg-to-frame ratio and appear perfectly proportional with relatively long legs while reaching at least 5'8 height. Of course 5'10 and up is better but 5'8 is minimum for a man in order to feel taller than the average height women.

The mocking I mentioned in this post related to a man in his mid-30s who stands at about 5'3-5'5 range. He once claimed 5'10, then 5'8 1/2. Both of those claims sounded ridiculous from him as he's obviously a very short guy based on all the photos he posts and some forum members know him IRL and confirm that he's a short dude. That's another problem of short men who claim 4-5 inches taller heights than they really are. It's ridiculous and screams insecurity.

I have acknowledged that I'm a short man who enters his 30s and want to overcome this issue with the only right solution there is: double LL of at least 3 inches in total.

I don't want to look overcompensating man with thug style, MMA training flexing or other bull  like living in gym or something similar. I want to tackle the issue directly, without masking it with those bull  the majority of short men cope with. I don't want to look ridiculous with tons of muscles like that Jeff Nippard guy. Neither do I want to look like Lil Wayne with thug style and tons  ty tatts on my body. Neither do I want to train in Jiu Jitsu or MMA or in other martial arts in order to compensate my lack of height like most short guys do these days (Jiu Jitsu and MMA is short guys' panacea these days).

I don't know about that guy who got mocked on that forum, neither do I know about other short men around the globe who try to overcompensate with various ways. Either they don't know about LL or they think that they don't need it. It's fine if they think that way but I can't be like them because I don't think that way. Yeah, you can compensate with many things but at the end of the day you're still overcompensating short guy who look ridiculous with every attempt of overcompensating mechanism employed in your life.

Maybe some of them who know about LL but not plan to do it wish they did it in their hearts but are either broke or wary of side effects and refrain from doing it. But, what I'm 100% sure is that almost all short men around the globe wish they ended up being taller than shorter.

Again, to me, LL is not only about getting taller but also getting longer legs to appear long-legged and attractive. That's also very important besides height gain for a man. Now, if someone is already long-legged and needs LL for height gain, than he has to make compromises between inches and proportions. But, to me, LL is not only to become taller, but also to become more proportionate which is more important to me than reaching 180 cm of height. I'll be fine with 173 cm with long and attractive legs. At that height and with long legs, I won't look like a manlet and employing other things to become more attractive won't be perceived as overcompensation by others. That's what matters the most.
