Don’t do it with Dr Giotikas. He’s not that good of a doctor, and doesn’t understand simple orthopedic principles. Athens is also a really bad city to live on, on par with war zones or third world cities. Dr Giotikas is just a trauma doctor posing as an orthopedic specialist. Stay away if you value your legs.

I recommend Dr Birkholtz in South Africa or Dr Assayag in America. Dr Assayag is the doctor who correctly diagnosed me and laid out a plan for my treatment. He is a true gem in the field of LL.
I have experience with Dr Giotikas as I was his patient. He doesn’t understand simple orthopedic principles which even a junior doctor would understand. Look up how in this forum how he messed up someone’s ankle, look up how he didn’t fix a patients issue. I also have chronic pain from how Giotikas inserted a nail into my knee. Every time I bend my knee it fking hurts. Giotikas also claimed to have fixed deformities but it is clear on x ray and in person it wasn’t fixed. You are risking your legs by going to him and you are risking your safety by living in Athens. Don’t make the same mistake I made by going to Turkey or Greece. Just stay away from those shizhole countries with low medical standards. |

Hey there! Thanks for you answer! So you have been a patient of Dr. Becker or Dr.Betz in the past?
I now that a lot of things are speaking for him but the number one thing is for me safety and success percentage. Since I read a few negative things about Dr Becker lake fake posts I wanted to ask the community. I hope you understand that |

Any other ones? Some other good LL doctors include Dr Becker in Germany who is around 45k-50k and Dr Assayag in Baltimore who's price I dont know exactly. If your looking for the max possible length for the least amount of money I would recommend Dr Becker as his Betz bone device can lengthen a max of 12cm for only around 45k-50k. But if you are intent on staying in the US and not spending an exorbitant amount of money at the Paley institute, a more affordable option would definitely be Dr Assayag. I dont know his price exactly but I think its in the ball park of around 70k-90k. |

Hey guys, You are in Germany and you have family or friends to help you post operation. You can go back home after 3-4 week, saving a lot of cost in transportation, accommodation and food. You can work when back home and easily drive back to Freiburg for XRAYs, Consultation and even PT if requires. Dr. Becker and his team are so friendly, helpful, patient and caring. You will never be treated like nuisance for asking stupid questions. The decision is obvious and no brainer. |

Hey guys,
I wanna do an internal femurs lengthening in early 2025! Some personal informations about me I am around 174 - 175 tall depending on the time of the day! I know that this is not small but I am struggling with it now over I would say 10 years (currently 28y old) My goal is to lengthen up to 7cm what makes me around 1,82 or 1,83! Also 6 cm or if the process is going well 8 is an option for me but I want to lower the risk as much as I can. What I heard 7 cm is still in a good safe zone but every extra cm is increasing the risk a lot? What is your opinion here? How much would you go for? I did a lot of research + visited 2 of the best doctors in my opinion which I can afford (Dr. Giotikas + Dr. Becker) both of them made a really good first impression on me! So I currently struggling with a decision. Giotikas: Is cheaper around 10.000€ I would stay with the total costs + I stayed here in contact with ex patients of them which I met at the hospital and everyone had a good recovery and all of them are back to the normal life without any negative impacts from the surgery. Dr. Becker: Also here I got a really good first impression + I read a lot of good forum entries but I am also read a lot messages about fake diaries and so on. Here I haven't met ex patients yet. A big + as well is that I am from Germany so the clinic is actually just 2 hours from me what makes it more easy for me! Maybe anyone from you visited also both doctors? Why did you decide for Giotikas or Dr. Becker/Betz? Would be really thankful for some advice? All the best to you guys |

That's cool... for anatomical analysis !
But the real test is on the beach... in swimsuit. If people look at you like to an alien - its bad. If women look at you and get wet - its good. |
