Hey bro! Wassup??!
Long time no chat with you...
How r u brother?? Hope you're doing good!
Btw you legs seem absolutely awesome in terms of proportions....femur to tibia , I'm sure torso to legs proportion must also be good! Good decision abt 5cm in tibia...you will recover very well I'm sure!

Thanks Dreamer57, am good how you doing good too, i feel i could have gone till 6cm but it's good staying safe so stopped at 5cm i am happy with proportions as of now

Day 89: Started walking with crutches today, feels easy with crutches than in walker as weight is mostly supported by armpit support

Day 91: Ankle pain(from stretching has gone 90%) walking like 4 to 5 times a day from past 2 days, after walking for some 10 to 15 minutes today I could make some small steps unaided, even when walking on walker am not leaning on it much as I use to when I had ankle pain in right leg and pain in left knee, with no pain I could put more weight on legs and still be comfortable and not lean much on walker.

Day 97: Using mostly elbow crutches for walking from couple of days, gait is fairly normal with crutches, and can leave crutches and can walk unaided for few steps, mostly after getting legs warmed up

Day 102(21/01/2020): Trying to walk as much as I can, even around 2 to 3 hours a day, working out all exercises shown by Harry takes good part of time in the day, walking unaided is bit better but i can only do it in corridor not so confident to walk unaided outside. calves and quads are developing but still not all recovered so trying to increase protein intake with eggs, chicken, protein shake and peanut butter.

When I start walking with elbow crutches I can only walk slow for few steps till i get my legs warmed up and then it gets bit fluid.

Hey Nomad

Great progress, this is the time when you really start to notice fast progress, in 1-2 months you will be walking 100% normal unaided for miles. But this stage is super tiring on your legs because they're not used to walking anymore, it just takes a few weeks to strengthen them back up.

You're doing really well, slightly ahead of me I would say so I really think you will be back to a totally normal life in 1-2 months

Good luck!

Day119: legs are getting better day by day, but working is boring and to sit for long hours, thought i will update my experience working after LL am still using elbow crutches and i am quite good with them can walk unaided but it be hard to start walking unaided right from sitting or lying down.

Once i am walking i can walk for pretty long without any issue, last night went out with colleagues and was on feet for around 2 to 3 hours didn't feel any pain for that, going to gym has helped my calves and quads they are better, calves are back to 70 to 80% to what they were before surgery.
