im doing fine. I have been back to normal life since about 2-3 months. I do feel little bit of pain sometimes on the upper part of the right leg, but its definitely getting better. My sleep has been 100% normal since about summer.

Im going to the gym now regularly and doing exercises to strengthen my muscles, but i do it very carefully and with light weight.

Did you try running yet? You think (one or two years from now) you could actually be faster than prior surgery?

Your bone callus looks great! I am happy to see your good bone consilidation.
By the way, I did my femurs surgery in Betz Institute on Dec, 13, 2018, which was 7 months later than yours.
Now I have almost reached 3 cm. Just like your experience, I got my wide legs at 2 cm.
I am an asian, and 2 other asian girls I met in the hospital also told me that they got wide legs at around 2 cm.
I have no duck ass and bend knee. I do biking more than 30 minutes and walking less than 1 km with crutches per day.
Now I am worried about my wide legs recovery. It seems getting tighter everyday after my 20 clicks.
How is your wide legs now? Can you cross you legs? Thank your for your reply.

You need to stretch your legs everyday and especially the it-bands to reduce widelegs. My widelegs disappeard about 1,5 months after i stopped clicking.

I wonder if Dr.Betz count the maxium amount of lengthening by measuring your bone length?Cuz if you lengthen one segment by more than 20％ length of its,lengthening will be very dangerous！

Betz has been performing LL from decades...he onbiously would have let him lengthen under medical limits itself.

I used painkillers the first 3 months then i stopped. I got painkillers while i was in the hospital. Once i left the the hospital i had to buy medication that lasted for about 3 months and the cost was about 500 euros.

I had stopped my lengthening at 5.2cm on 14th, Feb, and now it's been 10 days for me into consolidation phase.
Yes, you are right, my widelegs problem is getting better and better day after day. Now I can easily ALMOST stand and walk with my two legs put together. I think my situation will continue to get better if I keep on exercing and walking.
I still have a question for you to answer:
You know we have 4 screws in each leg, 2 for upper location, 2 for lower location. Do you feel sometimes your muscles or tendons have been scratched or slightly cut by those screws, like when you suddenly stand up, go upstairs/ downstairs, or any situations that your muscles thighten to use power? Now I have this problem, although it is not serious, it is annoying.

Hi, Uphill:
My original goal is 5-5.5cm. I am not a greedy person. I consider proportion more than just gained height data. My original height and wingspan are both 170cm. Now I am 175 and my arms seem not comparablly short, which is a satisfactory result for me. 5.2cm also makes it possible for me to recover sooner and come back to social life earlier. Btw, Dr. Betz recommended me go for 7cm+. Technically 7cm+ is no problem for betzbone.

U r right. I corrected a 10 mm leg length discrepancy using precise nail 2 with Dr. Rozbruch 7 months ago and i still have some pain in femur and knee and difficulty in climbing stairs and my gait is still not back to normal 100%

What is your tibia - femur ratio now? do you think a ratio in the normal range of biomechanics helps with running a year or so after operation, or is it just inherently the stretching of the soft tissues that messes up the explosiveness?

My right leg is still sore and after i recorded this video i had some pain. However, running like this was not possible about 3-4 months ago. My legs are obviously getting better each day but its going very slow.

I think that my mobility will go back to normal eventually, especially when i remove the nails.
