November 24, 2021 (the day after the operation)
7:20 gave me an oval medicine
7:30 The doctor came to see me, checked my leg, and brought a wheelchair. The doctor said he was going for surgery and would come back at noon.
8:20 My breakfast came and I had no appetite at all. I forced myself to eat half a small bread and half a spoonful of yogurt. Then I ate two bites of bananas and two bites of apples that I brought with me. I actually didn't want to eat them at all, just forcing myself to force myself to eat the afternoon.
8:46 The nurse pulled out my indwelling needle, saying that my blood vessel was too thin and this needle didn't work anymore, so I had to stick another needle.
(I didn’t work well with my retention needle yesterday afternoon. I had to fix a movement with my hand for it to work)
But in fact, I don't want her to pull it out and stick another one again, because it's okay for me to keep the movement myself.
When I was in the hospital on Sunday afternoon, I got stuck with this remaining needle twice. I was very painful, but I don’t blame the nurse, because my blood vessels are really thin, and I often get stuck several times in China!
The nurse pulled out my detained needle and gave me another one and failed, and then the medicine didn't lose... Give me a long cry.
Wechat’s video of finding her husband broke down and cried, and I felt wronged. I know that my blood vessels are thin and the retained needle can barely work. Why do I need to pull out my retained needle? If you pull it out and you can't get it, then you won't be able to lose the painkiller. This is going to hurt me to death! )
Next, my condition was not good, and my legs were so painful that I couldn't lift them up!
Today, the device that was fixed on my body to release pain relief was also withdrawn. There is a switch, press it when it hurts.
After breakfast today, two people from the hospital’s food and beverage department came and asked me what I want for food... I guess it’s because I ate too little last night. Ask me any food allergies and other questions.
At 12:54, my lunch was sent back. I had no appetite. I left it there and said I would eat it later. I didn’t even open the lid of the plate. The one who delivered the meal within ten minutes took another one to replace the one that was delivered first. I took a look at the replacement plate, which looked like the meal that was nauseating after a bite last night. This new plate looks much refreshing, only carrot, potato, zucchini gnocchi (I don’t know what rice or noodles are). I ate a half of this gnocchi and soup. I didn’t touch the rest and ate myself. I brought half a banana and half an apple. I still had no appetite and forced myself to eat it.
The anaesthetist came and gave me a retention needle (pink) for a baby. This female anaesthetist was fine. While comforting me, she told me the story that she was afraid of doctors when she was a child, and then finished the retention needle, nurse I came back soon and hung up the medicine, and my condition started to get better.
2:50 The doctor came to see me, asked me the degree of pain, said that he would give me more painkillers, and then said that he would come and let me walk again.
The nurse came and hung me a bag of "powerful" painkillers in a soft bag. It didn't take long for me to recover, and I could raise my legs, bend my legs, press my legs... and do the exercises the doctor taught me. Action, happy. However, when this powerful painkiller was infused more than half of the time, I started to feel nauseous. It lasted for about an hour. I felt like vomiting but couldn't vomit. It should be because I was eating too little.
In the afternoon, someone from the company sent me the extension equipment and taught me how to use it. I could start extension after the doctor gave me an order.
Today, accompanied by a physical therapist, I used a walker to walk from the bed to the corridor, then walked back, more than double the distance I walked yesterday, and I don’t have the disgusting feeling of walking yesterday.
I ate dinner with my husband’s WeChat video. I ate half of chicken thighs, a spoonful of mashed potatoes, a piece of cucumber (slightly sweet) and the rest did not move. My husband ate with me in the video, and I ate half of what I brought. Bananas, three-quarters of apples, a 250ml bottle of protein drink, this meal is considered to be the most eaten.
8:05 When the nurse was routinely taking blood pressure and ECG measurements, he gave me a tummy tummy for a while. I asked her to prevent vein clotting. The needle was very thin but it was quite painful.
The nurse looked at my new pink baby’s retention needle. She said that I was the only one here, and I didn’t want to. My blood vessels were really too thin!
